Betsy is 14" tall, made from fluffy gold mohair with needle sculpted felt foot pads, one featuring the artist's signature. She has a plucked muzzle, glass button eyes and an embroidered nose and mouth. Her arms and legs have an internal wire and can be bent into different positions. She has a firm fibre filling. She is dressed in a tartan print cotton frock with white collar and a bold black head bow. There is a very small discolouration on the collar trimming.
